A new groove is taking shape… a distinctive blend of ambient electro-funk.

The musical spawn of Julius Aitken (previously of house/drum & bass project, Class A) with low frequency input from Lowrider bassist, James Carroll, and vocals/ lyrics from the gorgeous Aimee Thackray and live percussion from Christopher Gavin (Rhythm Xpress).

A combination of dance energy and live instrumentation, drawing on musical influences as diverse as dance, world and rock. Experiences from almost all musical spheres - a new slant on contemporary influences, with a twist.

Programming skills and studio experience. Infectious basslines. Low frequency special effects and experimentation with live vocals, effects and sampling. Real hand percussion adding weight, tone and contrast to the electronic breaks. The music finding its own ultimate direction.
